I guess you know all the get-healthy exercise tips out there. By moving a bit each day, we meet new people, sleep better, make stronger muscles and bone and even have better posture.
Most importantly, if we exercise and keep in shape, we are less likely to lose our balance and suffer a bad fall.
I am sure you can see where this is going, can’t you? If we exercise our selves spiritually each day, the same is true. We meet new people, sleep with a clear conscience, build strengths to cope with the stresses of life and as we look to heaven, our posture improves.
Most importantly, if we exercise our spiritual selves, we are less likely to lose our balance and fall.
My dear friends, you have been warned ahead of time! So don’t let the errors of evil people lead you down the wrong path and make you lose your balance. (2 Peter 3:17, CEV)
Prayer – Lord, when we tilt in one direction or another, any way that leans us away from you, give us the sense to get back to healthy spiritual exercises again. Amen
