Back to Now

It is time to take the tree down, reorganize the mess, put away the fancy dishes and freeze the leftovers. Yes, once again back to real life with its mundane routines. The holiday is over.

Does that mean we leave behind all that it stood for? Certainly not!

As we follow God’s will for us, we will be able to say, like St. Paul;

 I urge and implore you, be imitators of me…recall to your minds my methods of proceeding and course of conduct and way of life in Christ, such as I teach everywhere in each of the churches.  

For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power (moral power and excellence of soul). (From 1 Corinthians 4:16, 17, 20)

Let’s live the next year full of God’s strength, enjoying God’s comfort and peace, recognizing that we have a part to play in God’s kingdom.
