What is our favorite name for God? Whatever it is, and only a few are listed here, we can trust him to be whatever we need. Take a moment and jot down how the Lord has met you in these areas.

Elohim –creator     

El Roi-The God who sees

Jehovah-nissi- the Lord my banner       

Adonai –Lord, Master

El Shaddai- the all sufficient one       

Jehovah-Jireh -the Lord will provide

Jehovah-Shalom -the Lord is peace  

 Jehovah-rapha- the Lord that heals

Jehovah-mekoddishkem- The Lord who sanctifies you   

Jehovah-raah- the Lord my shepherd

Jehovah-tsidkenu- the Lord our righteousness  

Jehovah-shammah-the Lord is there

Prayer-: Thank you, God, that your name is your character. We bless your name with all that is within us (Psalm 103:1). Help us recognize and be grateful for every life opportunity that helps us to know you by your name. For Christ’s sake.  Amen
