Speak Up

If we take Esther 4:14 to heart, and believe that we are here for such a time as this, then we have to act like it. We cannot remain silent while dishonesty and corruption and lies happen in our neighbourhood, our work place or our world. We have a responsibility to those less fortunate than we are. We have a responsibility to God.

We cannot continue to stand by while those of the world speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. (From 1 John 4:5)

One person can change the world. 

“One monk began the Protestant reformation, a young general enlarged an empire from Macedonia to the borders of the earth, and a young woman reclaimed the territory of France. An Italian explorer discovered the New World, and Thomas Jefferson proclaimed all men are created equal.

Always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.

This is how you do it.

Prayer- Lord we have put up, shut up and closed up far too long. Help us use our voices to glorify you and speak truth into our terribly fallen world. Amen.
