Moses knew he was a Hebrew, even though he eventually became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter and lived in a palace. (Exodus 2) From then on, in spite of his Hebrew upbringing, he lived as an Egyptian.
Perhaps you asked Jesus into your life some time ago, but somehow, like Moses, you’ve changed dwellings, locations, or mindsets.
Sometimes our lifestyle gets separated from who we really are and we find ourselves living like the world around us instead of children of the living God.
So this I say and solemnly testify in [the name of] the Lord [as in His presence], that you must no longer live as the heathen (the Gentiles) do. (Ephesians 4:17a, AMP)
Prayer- Lord help us be who we really are in Christ. Amen.
