Have you been standing on the Word and believing God for certain things to come to pass; to happen for you? Perhaps you have a dream or goal that you’re preparing for and making room for in your life. Well, your time to receive the good that God meant for you, is coming. No doubt while you wait, there will be a test of your patience and trust because there is such a thing as a time to sow seeds and a time to reap a harvest. By no means does that mean what you’ve worked hard for or hoped for will never be a reality. Don’t be discouraged or allow the frustration that accompanies impatience to deter your persevering to the end. But be mindful, get prepared because for everything in life, there is a season.
God loves you. So, understand that every season of your life is appointed by Him to do a specific thing that is ultimately for your good. Ecclesiastes 31:1-8 declares, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” There is no doubt that you will endure both the good and bad times; both the seasons of lack and abundance. So where the Word is concerned, be encouraged by the fact that no matter what you endure, there is an appointed time for everything you’ve been meditating on and believing and for the promises of God to come to pass as well.
It’s natural reaction of man to grow anxious as you wonder, “When is my harvest coming?” or “When is my breakthrough coming”? But understand that all your wants and needs are provided for by the Father so, cast your cares on the things of God and His assignments for your life. The Word says, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?” (Matthew 6:25). Apply your faith. Sometimes when you are in the season of want and need, impatience can usher in a flood of doubt and can cause you to become weary in your waiting. You’ve been sowing and believing and confessing; your time of harvest is coming. You must establish in your heart and mind that everything has an appointed time and every promise of God has an appointed due season. If you fail to do that, frustration and the temptation to quit will arise and you won’t continue in persevering and doing well.
So, there is a season for everything that goes on in your life. But one thing you can be sure of, when dealing with God, there is never a question of whether or not a thing is going to happen because understand, due season is always going to come. When you renew your mind to the fact that due season always comes, you position yourself to no longer walk in the doubt of whether or not it will show up. By renewing your mind, you get rid of the “if” it’s going to happen and you get born into the expectancy of “when” it’s going to happen. When you are born again, there is no such thing as operating by the luck system. Develop an expectancy of God’s promises. When you develop expectancy, God has something He has to fill because there is never expectation placed before the throne of God that He will leave unfulfilled. With your expectancy, will come your confidence in the Word and the promises. For the Word declares, “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward” (KJV).
Don’t give up, don’t cave in, don’t quit because your “when” is right around the corner. Condition and renew your mind. Understand there is there is due season and an appointed time for every promise of God. Start preparing today for your time of harvest. Get excited and rejoice in knowing that due season, always comes!
There’s more in store if you trust and wait on the Lord. Prepare yourself today, because the best is yet to come.
