Be yourself, except when you can’t! Here is a comment from my Facebook page!
“When I can’t be myself, I become a duck-bill-PLATTER-puss. That’s better than a tyrannosaurus-WRECK.” – Ron A Woods
Does that mean he eats when upset instead of yelling when he is upset? Hmmm.
What do you do when you are upset? I did a word search on this and got hundreds of ideas from dozens of sites, but hardly any of them mentioned prayer. Funny, when it is the most calming stress reliever I know; and why not, because God always hears and answers prayer.
The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer. (Psalm 6:9, NIV)
I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. (Psalm 17:6, NIV)
Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! (Psalm 66:20, NIV)
Prayer – Here we are God, expecting your listening ear to hear us. Thanks and Amen
