Galatians 6:14–But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world (KJV).
Crossed Hearts
I crossed my heart in promise. I tried to keep my word.
There was no other stronger, (at least that’s what I’d heard)
But when Lord Jesus died for me and when I heard the news,
I sensed the crossing of my heart couldn’t pay my dues.
And Easter season reminds me, still His word holds true.
When Lord Jesus ‘crossed’my heart, He made it completely new.
The Calvary Cross has ‘crossed’my life. I’m never again the same.
When Lord Jesus ‘crossed’my heart, He took on all my blame.
Prayer: Lord, remind us afresh of the day we first met You. Make it as new as ever it could be in our hearts so that we never forget what a difference You have made in our lives. Amen
